The first phase of works at Italian Serie A soccer side Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio’s home stadium is nearly complete. Find out how much has been transformed in the US$45m project.
The three-stage project will increase capacity from 21,300 to 24,000 at the stadium traditionally known as Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia. The video shows work being completed on the stadium’s Curva Nord stand with new seating and the club’s ‘1907’ inscription. Further stages are set to be completed by 2021.
