Last month’s poll question asked whether, in light of fan appreciation for Mercedes-Benz Stadium’s specifically low concession pricing structure, other major stadia should follow suit and prioritize fan savings over F&B revenues.
It proved to be a fairly one-sided debate for many Stadia readers. An impressive 83% of respondents felt that, given how much some stadia charge for tickets, low-cost food and beverage is essential, even if F&B has to operate at a loss. Just 17% believe that stadia are businesses, and pricing should be structured to make financial sense instead of appeasing fans.
