NRG Stadium, home to the NFL’s Houston Texans, held an open house this week to give fans a look at a range of new improvements to the venue, reports the Chron. The 72,220-capacity stadium now sports a new artificial field, a stadium-wide wi-fi infrastructure, and a host of new restaurant offerings.
The stadium, which cost US$352m and opened in 2002, was the first NFL venue to feature a retractable roof, and will host Super Bowl LI in 2017.
