It been just a few weeks since US Bank Stadium officially opened its doors to the public, but operators are already preparing to fill the new venue with dirt.
The stadium, which is home to the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings, will welcome Monster Jam back to Minneapolis after a three-year hiatus. The monster truck event should draw large crowds to the 66,200-seat venue, with tickets offered at reduced prices.
The new stadium’s first event was a soccer match between Chelsea and AC Milan as part of the 2016 International Champions Cup, held in early August this year.
US Bank Stadium will host the 2018 Super Bowl, but has been designed to host a variety of different events – with monster trucks now among the sports scheduled for the venue.
