The next chapter in the storied history of the Atlanta Braves will begin with an exhibition game with the New York Yankees at SunTrust Park on March 31, 2017. This will be the first game at SunTrust Park, and it will be the final one of spring training. The game will be open to full and partial season ticket holders. Full season packages will include a ticket to this game.
“The excitement is growing for the opening of SunTrust Park and The Battery Atlanta, and we want to share that excitement as a reward to our season ticket holders and showcase the building for the first time in front of them,” said Derek Schiller, Braves president, business. “Our new ballpark will be among the best in Major League Baseball, and this game will give our A-List members the opportunity to get a first glimpse of SunTrust Park. It will give them the chance to find their way to the ballpark, find their way around the ballpark, try out our new concessions and experience firsthand all the state-of-the-art amenities.”
The Braves also are planning various other public events during March and April to give the community the opportunity to see SunTrust Park prior to opening day in 2017.
