Work is underway at Ohio Stadium, the football stadium on the campus of Ohio State University, to host its first National Hockey League game next month.
According to the league, to accommodate its outdoor games, a one-of-a-kind mobile refrigeration unit and a rink system is built. The main function of the 53-foot, 300-ton capacity refrigeration unit is to perform the key function of making a great sheet of ice, to remove heat from the surface and stabilize the temperature.
