A new exclusive members’ club at England’s Wembley Stadium in London opened its doors for the first time during last weekend’s FA Community Shield soccer match between Arsenal FC and Chelsea FC.
Located within the stadium’s Club Wembley, One Twenty is a bespoke club designed by KSS and tailored for limited members, delivering high-end hospitality. The One Twenty experience begins in the arrival space where guests pass through a sculptural oversized angular canopy before ascending an illuminated staircase past a double-story smoked oak-paneled wall.
The unique spaces are designed to create intimate areas and group networking opportunities where guests can relax among contrasts of light and dark with a bold tapestry of furniture and a quirky use of materials. The paneled feature wall is the central backdrop to the lounge area and includes a recessed snug banquette, deep-pile upholstery with recessed bookshelves where guests can browse the famous Wembley archives.
The lounge features smaller furniture clusters and chairs that swivel for guests to ‘define’ their audience, privacy and sculpt their own experience. Dense tones of mustard, purple and turquoise colors are used throughout the spaces.
The bar area features a brass chandelier that floats up to the exposed paneled ceiling, while the restaurant ceiling lattice breaks with a traditional grid system.
Refurbished by Portview Fit-Out, One Twenty delivers what its designers term a unique concept unseen in sport, and provides an experience of luxury and subtle extravagance.
