California State University (CSU), Fullerton will have a new LED video display installed at Titan Stadium this summer.
Manufactured and designed by Daktronics, the main display measures approximately 19ft high by 39.5ft wide for a total of approximately 750ft² of display space. It features a 15 HD pixel layout, wide angle visibility and a weather proof design to safeguard the display from the elements.
“We are excited to have a beautiful, yet functional, new scoreboard for Titan Stadium,” said senior associate athletics director, Steve DiTolla. “It is a tremendous upgrade and will truly enhance the total experience for players, fans and sponsors.”
The display also incorporates variable content zoning that allows operators to show one large image or divide the display into different zones filled with various combination of scores, live video, instant replays, animations, advertisements and up-to-the-minute statistics.
