From the start of the 2015/16 Football League season, a new 645ft2 LED video display will be installed at English Football League Championship club Sheffield Wednesday’s Hillsborough stadium.
Manufactured, supplied and installed by ADI, the new screen, which will be the largest in the Football League, will connect to Live Venue, ADI’s high speed fiber network that links every Premier League and Football League stadium to the company’s sports production hub.
According to the club, the new display’s added connectivity will enable it to reach beyond the capabilities of most standard displays and create new opportunities to enhance the fan experience, while providing a new platform for club partners.
ADI will work alongside the club to develop content with exclusive features, game highlights, news, instant replays, social media and live stats. A dedicated team of directors, editors, and graphics operators will be responsible for powering screen content throughout every stage of the game day.
