Daktronics will install a new electronic scoreboard at Falcon Stadium in Colorado, USA.
The installation will include the first ever digital audio façade at a college venue and is scheduled for completion by early spring 2016.
The digital audio façade will provide an acoustically transparent video display space in front of the speaker system above the main end zone video display at Falcon Stadium.
Mark Johnson, Daktronics regional manager said, “We’re looking forward to seeing everything installed and working together to create an entertainment destination for fans this coming season.”
The sound system behind the scoreboard will feature 14 large-format speakers from Californian loudspeaker company Renkus-Heinz and has extended low-frequency subwoofers from Danley Sound Labs.
The video display will measure approximately 31ft high by 83ft wide and will feature 13HD pixel layout for image clarity, which can be divided into smaller windows to show any combination of live video.
