Daktronics has partnered with Oklahoma State University to provide two new LED video displays for the Michael and Anne Greenwood Tennis Center on campus in Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA. The displays installed in November will bring video replays and statistics to OSU tennis events.
“The Michael and Anne Greenwood Tennis Center has been recognized as one of the premier facilities in the country, and the new video boards will only enhance the match-day experience for our players and spectators,” said Oklahoma State director of tennis, Chris Young.
Located outdoors at one end of the facility, one display will measure 13ft high by 25ft wide and feature a 13HD pixel layout. Inside the facility, another display will measure 7ft high by 13.5ft wide and feature 15mm line spacing.
These displays will provide excellent image clarity and contrast while incorporating wide-angle visibility to appeal to every fan at the tennis center. They incorporate variable content zoning, which allows each display to show one large image or the displays to be divided into multiple different windows to show any mixture of live video, instant replays, match statistics and scoring, graphics and animations, and sponsorship messages.
“This is a great installation for a great customer at Oklahoma State University,” said Perry Grave, Daktronics sales representative on the project. “In addition to the displays in Gallagher-Iba Arena, we were able to provide a solution that meets the needs at another facility on campus that brings consistency in equipment operation to make things easier for our customer when producing one event to the next. We’re looking forward to seeing the final project in operation in the coming months.”
In addition to the LED displays, Oklahoma State University will also receive digital content to be produced and delivered by Daktronics Creative Services. This will consist of any mixture of content at the request of the university.
