Construction work at Doak Campbell Stadium is on schedule for completion ahead of Florida State University’s 2016 season opener, according to the university’s offical website seminoles.com.
A program of upgrades to the stadium, as well as the addition of a new Champions Club in the south end zone, will be ready in time for FSU’s opening game on September 10. Upgrades to the north end zone scoreboard will make it the second largest in college football, while the cost of the new Champions Club is estimated to be in excess of US$80m.
