A year before Colorado State University’s new stadium is due to be completed, the Colorado State Rams have issued an update on the progress of the 41,000-capacity venue.
The first game at the new stadium is scheduled for September 2017, and the team’s website reveals that structural steel is reaching the highest points on the west side of the new stadium – home to premium seating sections, lounges, broadcast facilities and the press area – while MEP work continues at field level throughout the rest of the site. Steel work on the east side of the site is due to begin in the near future.
The team recently announced that an anonymous US$20m donation meant that the venue would be able to retain the Sonny Lubick Field moniker for the new stadium.
