English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur has announced that Lilywhite House, which represents Phase 1 of the new stadium development, is now complete.
Home to the club’s new administration offices and the stadium project office, Lilywhite House also sees the restoration of the Tottenham Hotspur cockerel and clock. The clock, a club landmark for more than 70 years, is now housed in the reception area of the new club offices.
The completion date for the next phases of the redevelopment project, which includes plans for an estimated £400m (US$615m) 55,000-seater stadium, remains uncertain, however. The club faces a High Court battle, scheduled for 17th to 18th February, with a local business owner over the sale of his property, which occupies the area where the club seeks to build its new stadium.
