Executives from the Las Vegas Sands Corporation have presented plans for a US$1.3bn stadium at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, USA. The proposed scheme, announced in February, involves an NFL-standard new stadium – although LVSC spokespeople point out that that potential revenue from the venue would be substantial, even if a Vegas NFL franchise weren’t to materialize.
As World Casino News reports, LVSC executives attended a meeting of the Southern Nevada Tourism Infrastructure Committee last week to lay out the proposal for a 65,000-seat stadium. The plans are still waiting on relevant approvals.
