Premier League soccer club Everton FC has scrapped plans for a new stadium at Walton Hall Park, reports Construction Enquirer. The club, alongside Liverpool City Council, has been working on alternative plans for a replacement to the club’s current stadium at Goodison Park, and has revealed that plans for Walton Hall Park, which had previously been supported by city officials, have been abandoned. The club will now investigate solutions for a new ground targeted at a brownfield site.
