The granting of planning permission for English soccer club Cambridge City FC to build a new stadium has been subjected to a judicial review. The club, which competes in the Southern Premier League, bought 35 acres of land in 2012, and clearing work had already begun on the site where the team’s owners planned to construct a 3,000-seat stadium.
However, a judicial review in London has been conducted into the permission, with the club releasing a statement on its website informing fans that a decision could take anything from a few days to a number of weeks.
