Scottish soccer team Aberdeen Football Club has revealed plans for a new £40m (US$58m) stadium.
Revealed exclusively in The Press and Journal, the club will build a new 19,000-seat stadium on a site eight miles from its current Pittodrie Stadium.
The club hopes to have moved into its new stadium within the next three years. The new venue will be part-funded by the sale of the club’s old site. Training facilities will also form part of the new development.
