The Seattle Mariners ballpark will be renamed after the 2018 season after the Major League Baseball (MLB) side announced that the naming rights deal with Safeco will not be extended.
In a report on the team’s site, the team also announced that it had begun preliminary talks with new potential partners. The deal with Safeco was agreed in 1998 ahead of the park’s opening in 1999.
