Work has begun to remove the famous Millennium Stadium livery from the exterior of Wales’ national stadium in Cardiff, ahead of the venue’s renaming as Principality Stadium.
Wales’s RBS 6 Nations 2016 second-round match against Scotland, which will be held on February 13, will be the first event held at the renamed stadium. Venue operators have also announced that Rihanna will perform at Principality Stadium in June as part of the artist’s world tour.
The new naming partnership between Principality and the Welsh Rugby Union, announced in Q3 of last year, will last for 10 years.
