Basketball organisation the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association has recently announced a long-term partnership with IT management and security software firm Kaseya. This Effective immediately, the arena will be known as the ‘Kaseya Center’.
Following the financial collapse of cryptocurrency exchange and hedge fund FTX, the Miami Heat sought to find an immediate replacement partner in order to rebrand its home court.
“The collapse of our previous partner caught everyone by surprise but, in conjunction with Miami-Dade County, we worked efficiently and incredibly quickly to fill our naming rights vacancy with Kaseya—a local, dynamic and growing company creating job opportunities for South Floridians,” said Eric Woolworth, president of business operations at the Heat.
Wollosworth added, “Kaseya is a perfect fit and we are incredibly proud to join forces with them. We are also gratified to play our part in keeping the County’s ‘Peace and Prosperity Plan’ in place,” crediting Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Chief Operations Officer Jimmy Morales, the County Attorney’s Office, Commissioner Keon Hardemon and the Board of County Commissioners.

In addition to its naming rights, Kaseya will be afforded prominent in-arena signage, hospitality, gameday features, digital content, and community engagements.
Kaseya is currently the presenting sponsor of the Miami Heat’s Bounce Back from Cancer initiative, which has raised US$6.4m since 2019 for cancer research.
