English Premier League (EPL) team Tottenham Hotspur has launched a new mobile app, Spurs Go.
Spurs Go is fully optimized for smartphones and tablets, providing supporters with an interactive fan experience with a range of features designed to engage the club’s estimated global fanbase of more than 400 million followers.
New features include the integration of the club’s on-demand video service allowing fans to watch interviews and features from Spurs TV as well as extended match highlights. The Match Centre lets fans follow games by the minute and keep up-to-date with news, views and interviews.
For those visiting Tottenham Hotspur’s home ground White Hart Lane, iBeacon technology will allow fans to access content and offers at the stadium, and a social media hub will also allow fans to follow the club’s official social channels in one place.
The new app is the latest in a series of digital initiatives aimed at further engaging Tottenham Hotspur’s global fanbase, following the launch of the MySpurs digital membership, a new YouTube channel and the multi-language localization of club social media channels during the past year.
