Orlando Magic has become the first NBA side to utilize the VenueNext app – part of the Silicon Valley-based company’s multiplatform system to streamline venue services for fans.
The Florida team announced that it will begin using the app inside Amway Center this season, giving fans the ability to interact with features such as mobile ticketing, access parking and events, and order food and merchandise from their seats.
After a soft pre-season launch Magic will integrate other applications into VenueNext by the start of the season – such as Apple Pay and Google Wallet, and a feature for fantasy partner FanDuel.
