English Premier League soccer team AFC Bournemouth has renewed its agreement with its official IT partner, Medhurst Communications, for the 2015/2016 season, Soccerex reports. Medhurst has replaced the club’s entire IT infrastructure to support its position in the English top flight.
After winning promotion to the Premier League last season, Bournemouth has utilized Medhurst’s increased network efficiency and speed to bring the stadium’s capabilities in line with media and technology requirements. New media facility requirements include an integrated fiber optic and copper cabling network to provide both wired and wireless internet connectivity for all visiting UK and international broadcasters, and data ports and connection points for all media conference rooms, outside broadcast compounds, tunnel interviews and pitch-side presentations.
