The US District of Columbia’s official convention and sports authority, Events DC, has announced the selection of a joint venture of architectural firms to begin design work on a planned entertainment and sports arena in the Congress Heights area of Washington DC. Marshall Moya Design and Rossetti will develop plans for the 5,000-seater venue.
In addition, Brailsford & Dunlavey, ADC Solutions and Kumi Construction Management have been selected as the program management lead companies.
Washington-based Marshall Moya Design is also currently working on the new stadium for DC United, while Rossetti’s portfolio includes the LA Lakers’ headquarters and practice facility, and the renovation of TD Garden.
