The MSG Sphere is a 17,500-seat, state-of-the-art music and entertainment arena that will be spherically shaped and will offer a visual and aural immersive experience by being lined inside and out with video displays.
The venue, which is currently being built near the Las Vegas strip is an impressive architectural and engineering feat and has recently reached a construction milestone.
Scheduled to be open in 2021, the futuristic arena designed by Populous architects has reached the spherical venue’s equator – the widest section of the concrete superstructure. Images have been released by the Madison Square Garden company showing off key interior construction including the venue bowl and stage.
