As NFL teams continue to improve and update their stadium technology to enhance fan experience, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have once again taken the title as the top-ranked venue among fans.
For a second year in a row, the Raymond James Stadium was the number one venue in the Voice of the Fan report, which ranked all NFL teams among season pass members for its stadium technology satisfaction.
Following a US$160m investment at the Raymond James Stadium, renovations included a 31,000ft² HD video display and a state-of-the-art sound system. The video board, which claims to be one of the most advanced in the NFL, was the first in the league to simultaneously present three separate replay angles.
It also offered real-time game statistics, highlights from other games in the NFL, and fantasy football scores for fans to interact with.
A brand-new wif-fi network was installed before the start of the 2017 season, which quadrupled the stadium’s bandwidth to enable more social media sharing and for fans using the team’s official app at the stadium, which offers exclusive access to multiple live camera angles.
As well as taking top honors for technology satisfaction the Buccaneers have held the top rating in customer service satisfaction among season pass members for four of the past six years and finished second in 2017.
