English Premier League soccer side Wolverhamptopn Wanderers FC has introduced new payment solution technology at its Molineux Stadium to help increase the speed of point-of-sale purchases.
Working with Bleep, a provider of EPOS systems, more than 50 EPOS terminals have been installed throughout hospitality and concourse areas at the stadium. The machines, which offer fast and secure contactless payments for items such as food and beverage, are found in the Stan Cullis and Billy Wright stands and are all linked to the Bleep’s cloud-based web back office.
New TS-813 Android EPOS terminals, which feature customer-facing video displays, have been installed in the concourses, while in the hospitality areas, classic TS-915 portable EPOS terminals are in use to take payment and print receipts at customers’ tables.
The new EPOS systems aim to not only improve customer experience, service speed and efficiency, but also help increase revenue spend per head as a direct result. An additional benefit of the system is that it enables venue operators to monitor fan spend and use data and analytics to help make operational decisions.
