As fine-dining and hospitality at sports stadia continues to be a popular and important trend, venue specialists Forward Associates, which helped shape the guest experience at the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium, has recruited a culinary director.
Neil Fox, a head chef with more than two decades of hospitality experience will take on the role to support Forward Associates growing business within the Nordic region, where it plans to set up a permanent office in the area.
Fox’s career has taken him from London to Sydney and now the Nordics, where he spent two years as the head chef at Rivoli – an iconic French brasserie in Helsinki. His formative years were spent in fine dining, learning under esteemed chefs, including Chris Galvin, John Torrode, Graham Garrett, Lee Purcell and Serge Dansereau to name just a few.
He has shaped a number of successful contract catering projects at major leisure venues and has been instrumental in the creation and launch of many high street concepts. Forward Associates, which has re-defined the experience at places such as the Wimbledon Championships and the O2, recognizes Fox’s ability to work on big and small projects and his involvement in new techniques and trends to fit within the company.
