English Premier League Soccer team Chelsea FC has launched its new ‘Not What You Expect’ hospitality packages by targeting London commuters at Liverpool Street Station.
The one-day experiential event saw members of the club’s hospitality team hand out more than 10,000 handmade Chelsea FC granola bars during the morning rush hour. It was set against a backdrop of four digital screens promoting the opportunity for commuters to win a pair of annual hospitality memberships worth more than £6,500 (US$10,000).
The event was part of the club’s new marketing campaign, which aims to educate the marketplace about the choice of hospitality packages available at Chelsea FC, which ranges from fine dining through to more unexpected informal packages.
