The Atlanta Braves and Delta Air Lines have agreed to a new partnership beginning in 2017 for SunTrust Park.
As part of the agreement, Delta will be the exclusive sponsor of the Delta SKY360 Club, a new premium hospitality area in SunTrust Park. The brand will also be highlighted at multiple points inside the ballpark – including a sign above the out-of-town scoreboard. Also, the Delta Medallion parking lot will be available to fans at SunTrust Park.
In addition to their gameday activations, Delta, which began its relationship with the Braves in 1966 when the club arrived in Atlanta, will have a presence in the surrounding mixed-use development and will continue to be the charter airline for the Braves organization.
The Delta SKY360 Club, an 18,000ft2 hospitality club, will feature state-of-the-art technology layered with natural materials. Some key elements include walnut ceilings with custom fixtures and memorabilia displays. The club will offer a new high-end dining experience featuring two active display kitchens, a 30ft-long feature bar with marble slab top, and a more casual sports bar that features two 7ft by 20ft LED video boards.
Two premium seating sections totaling approximately 1,500 seats and located between the dugouts on the lower level will have access to the club. Those seats will feature wide, high-back upholstered padded seats and include in-seat service with all inclusive food, beer and wine, and premium parking.
SunTrust Park is being developed by the Braves in partnership with the Cobb-Marietta Coliseum and Exhibit Hall Authority and will be completed by Opening Day 2017. Located in Atlanta at the intersection of I-75 and I-285 in the bustling Cumberland Community Improvement District (CID), SunTrust Park will flow directly into the surrounding development, with shops, restaurants, offices, residences and entertainment venues that are accessible 365 days a year.
