Philadelphia’s Temple University has chosen Moody Nolan as the architect for a new football stadium, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer.
“Moody Nolan is regarded as a national leader in designing beautiful sports and recreation facilities that not only fit their purpose, but also fit the communities in which they exist,” said Temple president Neil D Theobald in an official statement.
The university recently announced that up to US$1m would be spent on the design of a proposed 35,000-seat stadium, as well as on the associated studies required. The official budget for the new venue is US$126m. Moody Nolan will also design a student recreation building, which will be located adjacent to the new stadium.
