Missouri governor Jay Nixon’s task force has released a new round of renderings by HOK for St Louis Ram’s proposed new stadium.
According to HOK, the new renderings reflect input received over the past seven weeks from the NFL and St Louis Rams, as well as key stakeholders in the project including Ameren, the Terminal Railroad Association, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and others.
The task force is developing plans for an open-air NFL stadium project on the North Riverfront of downtown St Louis that could be the new home for the Rams, as well as related enhancements to the Edward Jones Dome and America’s Center convention facility.
“Across the board, we’ve assembled a team of best-in-class consultants who understand our opportunity and vision, and who’ve been there and done this before,” said task force co-lead Dave Peacock. “Bringing these experts together is further evidence of our sincerity to keep the Rams in St Louis and the progress we’ve made in those efforts in just the past several weeks.”
The consultants include sports management consulting firm Barrett Sports Group; municipal advisor Columbia Capital Management; Downtown Now!, a community organization to increase investment in downtown St Louis through public-private partnership; private facility management company SMG; and international communications firm FleishmanHillard.
