AE Live, a leading global provider of graphics and data solutions, has appointed Kaylene Hurley as General Manager, responsible for leading its New Zealand operations, driving new growth initiatives, and developing strategic partnerships.
Prior to joining AE Live, Hurley held senior management roles with Ovato NZ and Bauer Media Group, with earlier positions at Bauer Media and TVNZ. She holds a double diploma in Advertising and Marketing from Auckland University of Technology. Hurley takes on her new role at a time when customer expectations for entertainment experiences are higher than ever, in terms of production values, immersive viewing and personalisation. She will focus on helping customers and partners adapt their business models to accommodate changing audience habits and increasing demand for mixed-reality experiences.
“This is an exciting time to be at AE Live, with strong growth potential in all our regions and especially here in New Zealand,” Hurley said. “We are continually strengthening our strategy around delivering solutions for clients across all our platforms both locally and overseas. I’m delighted to join such an experienced team and I’m looking forward to exploring new opportunities with our key partners.”
Hurley’s career includes two decades of media management and commercial expertise. She has a proven track record of leading, building, transforming, and growing high-performance teams along with establishing successful, trusted and long-term relationships with clients and partners.
Nick Baily, CEO at AE Live, emphasised the significance of this appointment in the New Zealand market, where the company has already established a strong presence working with prominent clients such as SKY Network Television, World Rugby, and Spark Sport. “Kaylene is the ideal person to drive our customer-first approach as we look to expand on our portfolio of innovative solutions to the New Zealand market and the wider region. Kaylene’s extensive experience will further strengthen our management team in the APAC region as we look to deliver further growth and greater collaboration across our teams in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia.”
