The Dallas Cowboys’ new headquarters, The Star in Frisco, will complete in August. The 91-acre multipurpose development includes the 25-acre complex that will house the team’s global base – The Ford Center at The Star, a 12,000-seat multipurpose events center and sports training facility. The center will be the first NFL training facility in the USA to be shared with a public high-school athletic program.
The Ford Center at The Star is a 510,000ft² indoor athletic facility, and will be shared by the Dallas Cowboys, the City of Frisco, and Frisco Independent School District’s (ISD) eight high schools. The 12,000 capacity is made up of folding fixed seating. The facility will also feature an interior video board measuring 1,824ft², and the largest exterior video board in high school sports, measuring 2,270ft².
