A London-based software company that produces security software for stadium operators to improve efficiency has been awarded the Innovation in Safety and Security award at the World Stadium Congress, held in Amsterdam.
Accredit Solutions provides a self-managed platform for large stadia, venues and events, that is fully scalable and integrates with existing access control systems to provide a highly innovative way to collect data, store documentation, set access controls and produce accreditation badges.
The software solution was named the winner of the award at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam, where experts and leading figures gathered to recognize innovation and excellence in the sports stadium industry.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have won this award. It has been an incredible start to the year for Accredit Solutions and this recognition from the judging panel at what is a very prestigious gathering of leaders in stadium development and tournament delivery is a fantastic result for the whole team,” said Peder Berg, CEO and co-founder of Accredit Solutions.
“Innovation should make processes faster, cheaper and more effective, and the Accredit Platform has been shown to decrease operational hours spent on accreditation by up to 90%,” Berg added.
Accredit Solutions’ product innovations include security features to prevent the forgery of the badges; the ability to set up group accounts for contractors to import data, send accreditation invitations, enter personnel information and control their own allocation of passes; a photo viewing tool that allows users to quickly view, edit and re-size badge photos; a mobile access control solution that allows real-time remote scanning via a mobile app at any entry check-point; and an automated communications suite to remove the need for manual intervention in the accreditation process.
