Scotland’s national soccer stadium, Hampden Park, has unveiled new vegan and gluten-free food menus to cater for all dietary requirements for events hosted at the venue.
The new range, launched by Sodexo Prestige Venues and Events, will offer new dishes to the stadium’s banqueting menu used for conferences and events and includes vegan, vegetarian and coeliac-friendly meals.
“At Hampden we pride ourselves on offering our clients and their guests the highest quality experience, which is why we’re thrilled to be able to unveil our new, inclusive range of menus,” said Craig Younger, general manager for Sodexo Sports and Leisure at Hampden Park Stadium.
“Scotland’s national stadium is the perfect place to host an event – not only does it guarantee a memorable venue for delegates, but our range of well-equipped event spaces and dedicated staff ensure a seamless event which is unforgettable for all the right reasons,” he added.
Dishes include a classic chilli con carne which is gluten, dairy, lactose and nut free, through to a lasagne made using Quorn mince layered with a soya milk béchamel sauce, and roasted courgette and aubergine, topped with vegan cheese.
Head chef David Buskie has also used his own secret recipe to create a ‘Hampden Haggis’ dish, which will be available exclusively at Hampden Park.
