The most expensive college football stadium in the USA has been approved, reports USA Today.
Voters in McKinney, Texas, approved a raft of investment projects, which includes a 12,000-seat stadium. As a result of the structure of the bonds, the combined total allocated to the new stadium could be as high as US$62.8m – a price tag that would put it ahead of other recent stadium projects such as Eagle Stadium in Allen, Texas, (US$60m), and the new stadium planned for Katy, Texas, which will cost US$62.5m.
More details regarding McKinney’s new stadium are expected in the coming weeks.
