In-venue betting partnership adds six new stadia

In-stadium betting company BD Stadia and bookmakers William Hill have announced a two-year partnership to provide in-venue betting operations to stadia across the English Premier and Football Leagues.

Building on the two companies’ implementation at stadia for Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and Chelsea soccer clubs, the expanded partnership will include six further venues – including the homes of Bolton, Bradford, Huddersfield, Preston North End, Queens Park Rangers and Stoke City.

The William Hill-branded service will include betting booths, staff uniforms and gameday-specific printed materials. The in-venue betting will be operated throughout the stadium concourses and hospitality areas.

“BD Sport have done an excellent job activating our stadium betting partnership rights with Chelsea, Everton and Spurs, and we are delighted to be able to extend our relationship with these new Premier League and EFL club deals,” said Kristian Welch, William Hill marketing director.

Tony Warwick, BD Sport Group’s joint managing director, added, “It’s exciting that William Hill has recognized the dynamic engagement our service provides on a matchday at White Hart Lane and Stamford Bridge, and are partnering with us to expand that across the country. We are extremely pleased to be working with them for the next two years and look forward to football fans collecting their winnings on line and in shops.”
